Central Library

Description
One of our proudest achievements in recent times is our contribution to the successful transformation of one of Manchester's iconic buildings in the heart of the City Centre, Manchester Central Library. As the second biggest public lending library in Britain it was originally opened in 1934 by King George V. It closed to the public in the summer of 2010 to undergo extensive transformation and renovation, and the new building re-opened in 2014 with innovative technology at it's core. Strata were retained to develop the new technology strategy and consequently managed all aspects of the procurement implementation and support of the IT programme.
