Auckland Theatre Company (ATC) had a brief to redefine the theatre-going experience in Auckland, New Zealand with the development of the ATC Waterfront Theatre. Unleashing the potential of digital technology was a central driver to deliver on the expectation ATC has established in this regard.   Placing technology and digital thinking at the heart of the Company’s culture, creative practice, audience interactions and business operations, ATC’s aim was to consolidate its position as New Zealand’s premiere theatre company and position itself for sustained success into the future.   Strata worked with ATC to develop a new and exciting IT strategy for the new $40m (NZD) theatre complex. In developing the new strategy and designing the solutions, Strata helped ATC to improve its understanding of the new and hybrid creative forms, business processes, and business models that digitisation requires or enables:
