Andrea has worked in the IT industry since 2000 as a project manager and programme manager with a reputation for completing projects successfully and on time. Andrea has worked in many sectors, in both large corporates and SME’s, UK wide and internationally.

Her career in IT started with Ceridian, a large international corporate specialising in HR and payroll. Career progression was rapid from Consultant, to Mobile Tech Support. Andrea then led a specialist second line support team, before progressing to become a Senior Technical Product Manager, managing flagship products. She actively led design for new products for national and international launch, working with design and technical teams across the globe.

Andrea was then headhunted by a former director of Ceridian, and moved to Logica where she transferred into project management for large scale clients on a newly launched product for HR and payroll.

In 2010 Andrea went to work for Northgate on Building Schools for the Future (BSF) throughout the UK, based in Belfast. After a stint with Northgate she took the decision to work as a contractor which provided a greater variety in the work she undertook. Following a very successful 6 years, she took the decision to join Strata Consulting after working with Brendan O’Shea, company director of Strata, on Manchester Library redevelopment.

The decision to work with Strata was not an easy one after working as an independent contractor. However, after a lot of consideration Andrea believes that as part of a team and the different strengths each member of Strata brings, this has been one of the best career moves she has made.

Andrea is currently working on two major projects, the first is for Manchester City Council to relocate staff in the Town Hall to offices in the city centre, prior to redevelopment work starting on the Town Hall. The second project is with an NHS Trust in the North West to implement and upgrade paging systems to allow for an integrated system across the trust.

In addition Andrea reviews technical documents prior to release to clients and potential clients to support bids for work with Strata Consulting.
