Project Scope: Town Hall Decant
Project Overview: IT relocation for a number of departments located in Manchester Town Hall to alternate office locations in Manchester city centre. Manchester City Council is about to embark on a 7 year project to renovate and modernise the iconic Town Hall in Albert Square. As part of the renovation project Strata was appointed to plan, oversee and ensure the IT move such as networks are designed, installed and tested, desktops, phones, laptops, printing and WiFi are fully available for users on the first day they move to their new offices.
Additionally Strata was contracted to provide support on the day users move into their new offices. This ensures any issues users came across could be corrected immediately to allow users to continue their normal work day.
